color!

i no longer live in a white-walled house! a few nights ago aaron painted with his brother john and brother-in-law kevan. hooray for color!

living room: winter lake. (warm and lovely)

dining room and kitchen: terrarium. (beige-ish green)

bathroom: wildflower honey. (crazy but fun)

now i look forward to finally hanging up our artwork and pictures, which have sadly been sitting in a box in our closet since we moved in months ago. the big question is, what to put on the living room wall? it's a weighty decision for such a vast space with such high ceilings. maybe we need to commission a very large piece of art. suggestions?

the walls look awesome! yellow really brightens up a small room; when we had a house i painted the bathroom yellow as well. some wall art suggestions: 1)a large piece of pretty fabric stretched around a wooden frame that aaron could easily make, 2) wall decals that you can buy at craft/home improvement stores and are removable once you get tired of them (i saw some cute birds at Joanne's, but i'm not sure how big they were) 3) hanging up a bunch of smaller pieces of artwork or photographs with a common theme together in a cluster. 4) i have some paintings that i can't or don't want to sell that you could borrow. again, i'm not sure they'd be big enough.

The colors look great! The blue and green go really well together, and the yellow in the batheroom will definately help to wake you up in the morning:)
