lake samish park

we had a nice rainy walk at lake samish yesterday, along the lake and up the ridge a little bit. it was cloudy when we started but raining pretty heavy by the time we were done. noah was bundled in his "snowsuit" but he did get a wet face, which he actually seemed to enjoy. aaron has noticed that sometimes noah seems like he's focusing really hard, figuring out what the experience of a new sensation means. he was that way in the rain, and he's often like that in the bath or shower too.

post-hike: wet face and matted hair

another new sensation as of late is the tempestuous wind that has been ripping through puget sound and sadly loosing all the leaves from the trees. i took noah out onto the porch the other day to see what the weather was doing, and he was overwhelmed by the wind! his eyes got red and half-closed and his thin little hair was whipping all over the place. it was so funny!
