on the expectation of the visitation of angels

(this morning in the car the kids and i were talking about the shepherds being visited by angels.)

noah: mama, do angels still come?
me: um, i'm not sure.  if they did, it might be surprising and a little scary.
noah: i wouldn't be scared.  i'm expecting it.
