my noah-documenting has totally slowed down lately! i'm enjoying him more and more, and i swear he's cuter than ever, but i find i just can't be hassled to go grab the camera when he's doing the head-bob or shooting us a toothy grin. i'll try harder, i promise.

last friday noah and i and some baby friends (and some of my grown-up friends) hiked up to fragrance lake. it was a wonderful, foggy, fresh-smelling walk in the woods (and quite a workout for a tired mom!). we had a near-catastrophe on the way there, as sarah's car broke down in an intersection and we had to push it to a gas station. actually, it was kind of a fun adventure, and lots of friendly folks came to our aid. including kristin and michael, who gave us and our babies a ride to the trailhead in their roomy van. the three babies were all in a row in their carseats, looking pretty cute. and in fact, they all three were wearing knitted things from oma, although you can't see jessa's booties under her snowsuit.
