we had a really fun day in seattle last week. aaron had to work at the seattle boat show and the rest of us tagged along. after we dropped him off we spent a few hours at seattle center, which we all love. we ran around the labyrinth (very un-meditatively), rode the monorail into downtown, walked back from downtown (stopping for donuts), watched a seahawks-inspired flag group do some twirling, peered up at the space needle, admired the chihuly glass flowers, climbed on some orcas, and counted all the 12th man signs we saw along the way (136 total, if you're wondering).
we ended the day with a yummy dinner and birthday cake with friends. and somehow aaron managed to drive home a car full of sleeping passengers very late at night!
