in the spirit of marking isla's half birthday, here's a walk down memory lane. irene took these videos in the hospital when isla was hours old. she's so tiny! (well, relatively tiny at ten pounds.) and noah seems so small too, and his voice is so childlike! these videos really mark his growth these past six months as well. he is such a big boy now.

Thank you, by the way, for your little surprise envelope that I received in the mail a little while ago. Ugh - why didn't anyone tell me how crazy I looked with that hair? I suppose it was the style...maybe.
We're doing pretty well over here. The winter is getting a bit out of hand now. We just got about a foot of snow yesterday and the day before. It really stinks. I was starting to dream about all of the flowers I want to plant but now it seems so far away again with all of that white stuff covering everything up. Oh well. Back to patience.
