noah's first big trip in the car was in early july--an eight hour drive south to eugene, oregon for his cousin kate's baptism. he did great in the car, probably because it was super hot and the heat made him sleepy. it was our first time meeting kate, who's about 5 weeks younger than noah and has much more hair. noah and kate didn't seem to notice each other much, but we had fun posing them together. the whole bandstra family camped in john and jess's backyard, and we called the event "bandstrastock."
